Week 9 Part B: Using Categories

I'm a nut about categorizing, and with being a pretend florist there are endless ways I can successfully organize my pretend business.

I've already started a seasonal category, celebrating the fall weather and Halloween, and would continue on that trend following different months and their holidays.

Another obvious one would be bouquet type and purpose; Is it for an anniversary, a graduation, an apology? People buy bouquets with a singular purpose, and it could help my marketing to organize that way to save time for the customer. On that same note I could make another category for flower symbolism and bouquet symbolism. If I wanted to be really extra I could even organize by color and species of flower, because I'm sure the few might follow even most specific of tags will have my post orbit into their feed.

Were it a real business I could have a category for custom works and behind the scenes, showing how a bouquet is made and the diligent staff members. I think this especially could improve post reach; Scrolling through pictures of bouquets are nice and all, but they're going to see that eventually if they go to the online store or shop- However, exclusive videos and to show the life of a florist could be very interesting for those who've never experienced it.
